On the night before the one-year anniversary ceremony held in Langtang, the village of Kyangjin Gompa was illuminated in honor of all those who died in the Langtang Valley on April 25th 2015 / Baisakh 12th 2072: 175 Langtangpas, at least 43 foreigners, 12 Nepal Army personnel, and almost 100 other Nepalis who have not yet been fully accounted for... estimated at over 320 people in total. May all these souls find peace.
The two bags in the middle without names represent the unknown Nepalis who died in the Langtang Valley during the earthquake--estimate to be near 100 in total, many of these people were never accounted for and their bodies were never found.
